If the walls are broken, if things need to be fixed, we are prone to do two things - Panic or Pounce when God is calling us to Pray. We panic and we feel overwhelmed and we begin to fear and give up. Or we pounce and we begin to do anything we can to fix the issue, to repair or rebuild. But the proper response, the response from Nehemiah was to PURSUE with Patience in Prayer and Fasting. You may look around and it feels like all you see are ruins. Don’t panic. Don’t pounce. But don’t do nothing! Patiently Pursue with Prayer and Fasting.
